How to Vote

You can now cast your vote in four ways, information about how and where to vote can be found by clicking here.

  1. On election day at the polling station which is printed in your personalised letter. You can vote from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
  2. You can also pre-poll at Morier House (opposite the Royal Square) each day from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, up to the 15th.
  3. If you are out of the Island on polling day, you can apply for a postal vote by calling your Parish Hall.
  4. If you are unable to attend at your Parish Hall or Morier House, your vote can be collected by a returning officer.

Polling Day is Wednesday 15th October.

Should you be out of the island on Polling Day or unable to attend a polling station for health reasons you can apply for a Postal Vote or to be a Pre-Poll Elector. You can find more information by clicking here or by contacting the Judicial Greffe at Royal Court House, the Royal Square. Telephone number: 441300.

There are 21 candidates for this election. Each elector can cast 6 votes, although you can vote for less than 6 candidates if you wish. (I would urge you to use all 6 votes, as you will definitely have 6 Senators as a result!)

Jersey has one of the lowest voter turn-outs in the world. Please help me increase that number - regardless of who you vote for.
